Upromise: Save Money for College the Easy Way Scholarship Give Away

I’d heard about this company a while back called Upromise and I honestly thought it was too good to be true until my friend told me it was true so I want to recommend it to you as it is a FANTASTIC way to save for your child’s college. You may not always make a ton of money through it, but hey, free money is free money and it’s free to sign up!

Let me explain:

First off it’s FREE to join, and it allows you to earn money for college through shopping online through Upromise, by purchasing specific products or from certain stores or even just when you use your credit card! Members direct their spending to Upromise partners—including more than 600 online stores, 8,000+ restaurants, thousands of grocery and drugstore items—and earn money for college.

Secondly, if you don’t have kids, you can use it on yourself, your spouse, your children, or grandchildren. Everyone can earn money for college—parents with young children; family and friends that want to contribute; students and graduates with eligible student loans to pay.
Many members have earned hundreds even thousands of dollars for college with their everyday spending and have been able to use those earnings to contribute toward college tuition, expenses, or loans–quicker and easier. There are sponsors who donate the month and some families report to save $1000 each year! Yeah, crazy huh? By the time your kids are ready for school you could have $18K ready for them. Ok, that won’t pay for all of their college but IT’S FREE MONEY!! And of course we all love free money, right??!!!

All you have to do is go to their site and sign up. I added our credit card so that when we dine out I make a percentage of what we spend. I also signed up my CVS card so that when I spend there I earn. Basically, you buy what you normally buy and you make a percentage of what you spend! Again, for FREE!!!

One place I know you can use it for sure is so you can get gift certificates cheap and tuck away some for college. Now you know why I thought it was too good to be true!

The other cool thing is they offer electronic coupons each month that load onto your loyalty cards and then you save even more money.
